Submodeling in ansys 15
Jan 16, · Hopefully this explanation will be helpful to you if you have a need to perform submodeling in a thermal simulation in ANSYS. There is a Thermal Submodeling Workflow section in the ANSYS Help in the Mechanical User's Guide that you may find helpful as well. Submodeling has been available in MAPDL (“ANSYS Classic”) for eons. Submodeling was possible in Workbench but required the use of APDL command blocks to accomplish the cut boundary interpolation of the displacements or temperatures. With ANSYS v this effort has been reduced to simple drag and drop operations. Jul 12, · Their instructions were not explicit and everything was done in Ansys Classic. The goal here is to show modal submodeling in Ansys Workbench. Here's a walk through of an example: Step 1 Solve the coarse model Modal Analysis (System A). Fig 1: Coarse Model Modal Analysis (System A) Step 2 Create a finely meshed submodel Harmonic Response Model.
Earlier I thought differently, many thanks for the help in this question.
It is remarkable, rather amusing idea
